Our Foundation

The Mission

The Frogman Legacy Project Fund, created in 2025, is dedicated to restoring, reconnecting, and re-engaging active-duty and veteran U.S. military members — with a direct focus on Naval Special Warfare and Special Operations Forces serving and living in the Gulf South region of America.

The Gulf region — anchored by Naval Station Stennis, Mississippi — is home to two NSW commands and a substantial population of active-duty and retired NSW personnel. These men and women have executed at the highest level, contributed generously to the broader NSW support ecosystem, and continue to uphold the standard long after their operational careers conclude.

The Frogman Legacy Project exists to bring that same standard of support home. Through curated access to physical and mental rehabilitation, skills training, and community-building experiences, we close the resource gap in the Southeast — ensuring that geography is never the reason a teammate goes without.

Historically, the majority of NSW-focused fundraising and program allocations have concentrated along the West and East Coasts — a natural reflection of where the largest commands are headquartered. The Gulf South, however, represents a significant and underserved population of NSW personnel. This is not a complaint. It is a gap, and gaps get closed. That is the mission.

The Gulf South

Naval Station Stennis, Mississippi hosts two active NSW commands and a significant population of active-duty and retired Naval Special Warfare personnel. The region is underserved — most NSW-focused funding flows to coastal installations in Virginia Beach and Coronado, leaving Gulf South operators with limited access to the programs their service has earned.

The Frogman Legacy Project was built to close that gap — bringing world-class resources directly to the Southeast, where demand is real and investment has been thin.

Curated access to world-class physical therapy, adaptive fitness programs, and mental health resources specifically designed for the unique demands placed on Special Operations Forces. We connect warriors with practitioners who understand the warrior mindset — partnering with clinicians, coaches, and peer support networks to address the invisible wounds alongside the visible ones.

Skills Training & Career Development

The skills forged in Naval Special Warfare are extraordinary. We help translate that operational excellence into civilian opportunity — through leadership development, vocational training, entrepreneurship mentorship, and direct connections to employer partners who value the discipline, adaptability, and integrity that define every Special Operations veteran. The next mission is out there; we help find it.

Community & Connection

Isolation is the enemy of healing. The Frogman Legacy Project facilitates community-building experiences — expeditions, retreats, brotherhood gatherings, and service opportunities — that reconnect veterans with a sense of belonging and shared purpose. By weaving warriors back into the fabric of civilian communities, we ensure the legacy of service continues to inspire those around them.

Who We Serve

Gulf South NSW & SOF community — active, retired, and family.

  • Active-duty members of Naval Special Warfare commands at Naval Station Stennis and throughout the Gulf South region, including SEALs, SWCC, and NSW support personnel.
  • Retired and former NSW and Special Operations Forces veterans who have settled in the Gulf South — Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, and the Texas Gulf Coast.
  • NSW and SOF members dealing with physical injuries or the mental weight of service who lack local access to the specialized rehabilitation resources available in larger coastal markets.
  • Families of active-duty and veteran NSW members in the region, whose own sacrifices deserve recognition and whose stability directly supports the warrior they love.
  • Gold Star families of the Gulf South — honoring the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and ensuring their families remain connected to the community their loved one served.

The Frogman Legacy Project is not a national clearinghouse with a regional satellite. It is a Gulf South organization, built from the ground up by people who live and serve here, for the community that calls this region home.

NSW members stationed at or retired near Stennis carry the same operational pedigree as their counterparts in Virginia Beach or Coronado — same missions, same standard, same sacrifice. The Frogman Legacy Project ensures they have access to the same quality of support, without the burden of traveling across the country to receive it.

We work directly with local clinical partners, employers, and community organizations to build a support infrastructure that meets people where they are — geographically, professionally, and personally.
